Federal Estate Taxes |

The Estate Tax is a tax on your right to transfer
property at your death. The includable property may consist of Cash
and Securities, Real Estate, Insurance, Trusts, Annuities, Business
interests and other assets. As of January 1, 2020, if your Federal Gross Estate
has a total value of less than $11,580,000, your estate may not be
required to file an estate tax return. (Note that you will still be
required to file a Massachusetts estate tax return if your estate is
over $1,000,000.) |
